Mallik is a Founder Advisor at Decibel. Mallik was the co-founder, CEO and CTO of Springpath Inc. which was acquired by Cisco in 2017. He is now a Cisco Distinguished Engineer and the CTO of the HyperFlex product-line. Prior to founding Springpath, Mallik was a Principal Engineer at VMware where he led the networking and storage product development and delivered industry breakthrough technologies. He holds close to 80 patents and authored six published papers in leading academic conferences and journals.
His personal time is spent playing with (or playing pranks on!) his children and competing on the badminton court. A graduate of the University of Madras, Mallik’s passion is providing educational opportunities to the children of underserved communities.
